Designed by Sportscraft, now seventh time Olympic games uniform supplier, the uniform features a traditional green and white striped crested blazer with an outer green trim lining. Kitty Chiller, Australia’s Chef de Mission, says, “The blazer is an integral part of being an Olympian. Our athletes train for years, and you have to earn the right to wear that blazer”
To accompany the blazer, the men will wear a yellow tie with horizontal green stripes with a pair of white shorts, while the women will wear a gold and green silk scarf with a white skirt. Both women and men will wear white shoes that have been designed by Tod’s for the occasion.

Jess Fox, silver medalist from the London games told Seven ““I think it has got that fun Rio feel to it but it has that vintage inspiration to it from the previous Olympics.”
The names of Australian Olympic champions are embroidered on the lining of the green blazers, bringing a true touch of history and pride to the uniform.
Ken Wallace, gold medallist from the Beijing games, said, “I’m super happy that my name can be amongst remarkable athletes in there”
