Spring has sprung and summer is right around the corner, but you may not have your summer glow on just yet – unless you have just come back from a European summer escape and in which case, don’t talk to me!
Applying certain shades and textures of makeup can be one of the easiest ways to upgrade your bronzed glow factor. With just a few hints of bronze or gold, mixed with some metallic texture for the ultimate glow factor, sunless bronzing solutions are made a piece of cake.
Here are some new makeup products to get you on your bronzing way.
St Tropez Tan Gradual Tan Plus, Anti-Ageing for Face
At the start of the warmer months, while we may feel the spring vibe, we may not be projecting it with our skin tone – and that’s a good thing; sunless tanning is the way to go for anti-ageing! But if you are like me and love a face glow – meaning less makeup is required with a warmer tone present – then a daily gradual tan product is the way to go.
Our faces are so visible, so a self-tan may be too dark or obvious if used suddenly at the start of spring. A gradual tan however gives you daily hints of colour, and the more you use it, the deeper the colour will be.
We all know that some tanning ingredients can be a tad drying, but St Tropez Tan products have an anti-ageing formula to hydrate your skin for up to 24 hours, while also assisting in rejuvenating skin cells and leaving you with firmer skin.

Ever since Charlotte Tilbury (An A+ grade Celebrity Makeup Artist) products have become available online in Australia, the range has been hot on my radar!

Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Powder Bronzer
There are so many things one can do with a bronzer, and it would definitely have to be one of my essential go-to products as a makeup artist.
A bronzer is the perfect way to add warmth to your look by dusting over your entire face, starting from the centre and progressively working outwards to create a natural sun-kissed effect. Your bronzer is also perfect as a shade tone for contouring – ideal for sculpting hollows under your cheek and jawline and across your eye socket for extra lift.
This Bronze Goddess powder bronzer glides on smooth, has 4 shades to choose from and will be shine free thanks to its oil controlling complex.

Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Shadow Sticks
Quick and easy is a request I get asked a lot with regards to eyes, so when I find a new product I love, I must share it to the world.
As mentioned above, I love using a bronzer as a base eye shadow and a socket lift, but the mobile eyelid is where magic can happen.
This is an area to add some light, metallic fun and colour of needed. I love the long-wear shadow sticks as you can apply with a brush, or even your fingertip – It’s easy, quick, full pigment, metallic colour that is long wearing, while also great as a wash of colour. Try the new shades of New Taupe & New Soft Peach for a bronze effect.

Tom Ford Lip Color Sheer – Skinny Dip
This time of year and going into summer means you may like the look of sheer glowing colour for the lips… After all the more glow on the lip, the more light reflection for a fuller pout. I love this warm, golden infused tone from Tom Ford as it suits all skin tones. This also gives warmth to fair skin and complimenting olive skin.
This summer, themed lip range gives great moisture as they are infused with vitamin C, vitamin E and shea butter for a lustrous glow. These can act as an everyday shade, or even the perfect bronzed nude lip to match a smokey-bronzed eye.
