The marriage of science and cosmetics
is truly a beautiful thing. As we emerge from an endless summer, I am looking to the latest launches to fake a glow
, restore hydration and put me on the path to ageless beauty.
Here are a few of my favourite new launches:
Sisleya L’Integral Anti-Age Cream $550
Purveyors of luxury botanical skin care Sisley, launch Sisleya L’Integral Anti-Age cream this month and it’s pretty much the stuff of multi-tasking women’s dreams. A comprehensive skin treatment that is deliciously hydrating, reparative and perfect as an all round skin saviour to be used day and night. The luxury price tag is fitting for the cream that has it and does it all. After 17 years of research, the Sisley laboratories have discovered that the pace of skin ageing is not only genetic and environmental factors but also behavioural factors (wrong diet, lack of sleep, inadequate exercise and relaxation) and these factors are brutal. Hands up if your behaviour is making you look old? Me too.. The silken texture melts into the skin and is never heavy or greasy. The sensorial experience is also absolutely flawless. I’m in love…

Kiehl’s Refining Micro-Peel Concentrate $82
Kiehl’s Refining Micro-Peel Concentrate is a salon in a bottle treatment solution. Quinoa Husk is a gentle nightly peeling agent that reveals softer, smoother and radiant skin. When skin is exfoliated properly and hydrated, visible fine lines and dullness vanish revealing a much more vibrant and youthful complexion. I am a huge fan of Clear and Brilliant laser treatments and I find this at home peel the ultimate enhancer in between treatments. Stockist: Available from May
Bobbi Brown Face Masks $65 Each or Mini Mask Trio $29
Follow up an at home peel with a nourishing, boosting face mask. Bobbi Brown, the queen of looking yourself, only better, launches three new face masks this month to detox, nourish or boost radiance in a flash. As the lady herself says ‘reset, restore and reenergise your skin’. I’m crazy about Instant Detox for a deep cleanse. It’s perfect if you like to work out or tend to worry about larger pores. I love a mask that deeply cleanses without stripping my skin to bone dry. This one delivers with Hawaiian sea water and Amazonian White Clay. The Radiance Boost mask is also a winner with superfine walnut grain beads to sweep away dead skin cells, Algae extract and Orange Oil to hydrate, balance and energise the skin. All three masks are $65 each or you can purchase a Mini Mask Trio for $29. The perfect travel or trial companion.

Need to hit transform now? These three new launches are the ones I have on high rotation.
Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation $65, Magic Foundation Brush $55
Charlotte Tilbury, the undisputed queen of glamorous make up has done it again. It seems every single product she launches from her eponymous brand is what we’ve been dreaming of. The Magic Foundation is no exception. Truly magic, truly long lasting and a pleasure to use. This foundation actually covers scaring, redness, pigmentation and even smooths out the appearance of lines. I find the formula never dries my skin and never gets oily. Heaven. I’m crazy about the weightless yet full coverage formula that looks even more untraceable when applied with her beautiful Magic Complexion Brush. Disguise every sin and enhance every feature with one of, if not the best foundation to have launched in years.

Elizabeth Arden Instant Perfecting Primer $48
Elizabeth Arden joins the party for faking it until you make it with the launch of Instant Perfecting Primer. Think of it as a time machine in a tube with oil free, triple blurring and light diffusing technology. You can use it as a prep for the most flawless and smooth application of foundation and make up or I’ve even worn it on
