The Ultimate Summer Antioxidant Smoothie Recipes

There’s a lot of summer smoothie recipes, but this one by personal trainer and raw food expert Ricardo Riskalla is the ultimate smoothie you should be adding to your diet.

I am asked all the time what models should eat or drink to get great skin and hair so I created the ultimate anti-oxidant, superfood rich recipe and have been using it with many models that I train. It is a powerful smoothie that combines many super-nutritious ingredients and tastes incredible.

This one is the rolls royce of beauty smoothies, but I understand sometimes we simply don’t have the time to make it, so I’ve created an additional recipe that is a a little easier to make on-the-go when you’re pressed for time and will still deliver some beauty benefits. Read on for two of my famous beauty smoothie recipes.

Powerful Antioxidant Smoothie Recipe

The following recipe will make enough for 2 days or even 3 days and will keep well in the fridge over that time.

Ingredients (organic please!)
1 stick of celery
½ beetroot
½ teaspoon of raw maca powder
2 leaves of kale
½ carrot
1 tablespoon of raw goji berries
1 teaspoon of raw lucuma powder
2 bananas
1 apple
1 pear
½ teaspoon raw acai powder
1 tablespoon raw cacao powder
10 drops of peppermint essential oil
1 teaspoon of raw coconut oil
1 tablespoon of raw honey
3 tablespoons of raw cacao butter
2 raw spirulina tablets
1 teaspoon of natural vitamin c powder or 1 gram tablet
1 teaspoon of MSM or 1 gram tablet
1 tablespoon of tahini
½ cup raw noni juice
1 teaspoon of raw ginger
2 peeled lemons
1 tablespoon of cinnamon powder
3 shakes of cayenne pepper

Directions
1. Leave all vegetables and leaves soaking in water and vinegar for 5 minutes to kill any parasites and to remove all chemicals sprayed. Then wash them in filtered water.

2. Blend all the ingredients in your high speed blender

Super Refreshing Beauty Smoothie

Ingredients (organic please!)
3 bananas
1 lettuce head
2 bunches of mint leaves
1 cucumber
1 tablespoon of raw honey
3 peeled lemons

Directions
1. Leave all vegetables and leaves soaking in water and vinegar for 5 minutes to kill any parasites and to remove all chemicals sprayed. Then wash them in filtered water.

2. Blend all the ingredients in your high speed blender
