It’s a fine time to rethink your foundation. With the advent of warmer weather, you may naturally tan up a notch, humidity can hit and your foundation can go south. Fast.
So, you may want to switch to a sheerer SPF option that stays put.
Personally, I take off a layer of coverage as the warmer months march in, swapping my foundation + powder combo for one product that’s sheer, glowy, covers blemishes and lets my skin breathe. This fairytale product does exist, but make no mistake; sheer coverage doesn’t mean less sun protection, so for day, opt for a product with an SPF and in the evening, try a mattifying, longwearing option that keeps humidity at bay.
My Top Tip: Create the best canvas for any sheer coverage with a bi-weekly exfoliation. This will not only remove all dry skin on the surface, but it will also eliminate leftover SPF and ensure circulation is en pointe – boosting your glow to even higher heights.
I’ve road tested my fair share of foundations over the years so to help you navigate the maze of what’s out there, here’s my ultimate edit of foundation for warm weather to see you – and your complexion – through hot humid days and steamy summer nights…
