Seasonal Fruit Stuck in the Choc-Avocado Mud Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 avocado
- 1 banana
- ¼ cup 70% Cocoa cooking chocolate
- ¼ cup maple syrup
- 2 Tbsp. organic extra virgin coconut oil
- 1 teaspoon chia seed, soaked in 2 Tbsp. of water
- Pinch of sea salt
- Fresh seasonal fruit, strawberries, kiwi fruit, pineapple, rockmelon or similar (for skewers).
- Small skewers
Method:
- Soak Chia seeds in water and allow a few minutes for the chia/ water mixture to take on a gel-like consistency.
- Melt the 70% cocoa cooking chocolate in a double saucepan.
- Combine chia gel, chocolate and remaining ingredients into a food processor.
- Blend the mixture until ingredients are thoroughly mixed together and smooth.
- Cut your child’s favourite fruit into fun shapes using a cookie cutter then slide onto some skewers.
- Dunk skewered fruit into chocolate avocado dip and enjoy!
