Gemini Lovescopes

First some info for all the signs…

Probably the biggest ‘love story’ of 2016 won’t happen until 2016 (something to look forward to!) It’s the once-every-12-years move of happy Jupiter into the relationship sign of Libra.

BIG LOVE

Having Jupiter in Libra is good for everyone. Jupiter is the planet that jollies things up and Libra is the sign that loves to go one-on-one – Jupiter in Libra is a positive for everyone and all relationships, romantic and otherwise. There will be more give and take, an increased desire for harmony and more aiming for win/win outcomes. Jupiter is big and happy and Libra is relationships, so big and happy relationships are more likely. (It actually also augurs well for a release to the religious tensions that have plagued the word these past few years, but that’s another story.) Everyone will benefit from this to some extent, but especially Libra and Aries or Libra and Aries Rising people (find out your Rising Sign here).

Jupiter will move into Libra on September 9 and stay there well into 2017. Summing up:

• If you’re looking for love, you should have more options. People will be more open to actual relationships rather than meaningless hook-ups
• If you’re in love and your relationship needs some work, Jupiter in Libra will make working on it easier.
• Saying that, of course, there are no guarantees. Jupiter in Libra won’t magically fix broken (let alone abusive) relationships. But it will certainly make having good relationships easier, as if the proverbial wheels of love have been oiled.

Another big influence on love relationships this year will be the eclipses. They’re taking place this year in Pisces (March 9 and September 16), Libra (March 23), Aquarius (August 18) and Virgo (September 1).

If you happen to be one of those signs, or you’re Aries or Leo, or you have one of those signs or Aries or Leo rising (find out here) you will feel the eclipse most strongly. Expect excitement when it comes to relationships this coming year. Good excitement or troubling excitement? Put it this way, that eclipse energy suggests that good relationships will get better while troubled relationships could make way for something better.

More on the eclipses as the year unfolds – keep an eye on your weekly and monthly horoscopes!

WHERE’S THE LOVE PLANET VENUS?

Also, if you want to know about your best times for love this coming year, knowing when the love planet Venus is in your sign is crucial. Here is a quick list of where Venus will visit between now and the end of the year. (Note that these are Australian dates. They could vary by up to a day in different parts of the world, but it’s the overall cycle which really matters, rather than the date Venus actually enters your sign.)

January 24 Venus into Capricorn – hopefully you enjoyed it, since it will be already over when you read this!
February 17 Venus into Aquarius
March 12 Venus into Pisces
April 6 Venus into Aries
April 30 Venus into Taurus
May 24 Venus into Gemini
June 18 Venus into Cancer
July 12 Venus into Leo
August 6 Venus into Virgo
August 30 Venus into Libra
September 24 Venus into Scorpio
October 18 Venus into Sagittarius
November 12 Venus into Capricorn
December 8 Venus into Aquarius

Overall this year should be easier than last year as the very last of the challenging Uranus/Pluto clashes finally dissipates and it replaced by far more optimistic vibes. Do note that Saturn is still in Sagittarius this year, so Sagittarians and Geminis have a lot to learn, especially about love for Geminis.

AND THEN THERE’S LOVE AND SEX…

Also worth noting is that the sex planet Mars will be doing a rare retrograde from April to June. Again more about this as the year unfolds but overall, it’s important to be aware that the reverse cycle of Mars can have an impact on your sex life.

If things have been a tad lacklustre, it’s a time when you can fire things up again. If things have been great but they go a bit quiet during this time, don’t panic! The signs most affected by this will be Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Scorpio and Sagittarius. If you have any of those signs rising, that also means you! The other celestial action to be aware of when it comes to you and your love life is when you have a New Moon in your Love Zone – that’s when you get a chance to wipe the slate clean and start again.

Here is a list of the New Moons this year –

January 10 New Moon in Capricorn
Feb 9 New Moon in Leo’s Love Zone
March 9 New Moon in Virgo’s Love Zone
April 7 New Moon in Libra’s Love Zone
May 7 New Moon in Scorpio’s Love Zone
June 5 New Moon in Sagittarius’ Love Zone
July 4 New Moon in Capricorn’s Love Zone
August 3 New Moon in Aquarius’ Love Zone
September 1 New Moon in Pisces Love Zone
October 1 New Moon in Aries’ Love Zone
October 31 New Moon in Taurus’ Love Zone
November 29 New Moon in Gemini’s Love Zone
December 29 New Moon in Capricorn’s Love Zone

And now, specific info for you and your sign (read your Rising Sign if you know it)

LEARNING LOVE LESSONS (AGAIN)

It would be lovely if life were just sunshine and lollipops, right? But it seems we humans are here on Earth to learn stuff for the good of our souls and to evolve! And guess what? 2016 sees you slap-bang in the middle of a big learning curve about love and relationships. There could be upsets, there could be demands, there could be a lot to deal with, but survive this and you and your new love skills will survive anything!

A question before we go further: Do you want the good news or the not-so good news? The good news is that you really are being singled out to learn lots of really amazing lessons through your most important relationships in 2016. The not-so good news is that some of these lessons will be a real drag to learn. You have Saturn in your Love Zone for all of 2016 which means you and your partner or ex have to work through your issues. It’s negotiate or bust.

You will be rewarded with a much happier and more stable love life, assuming you’re willing to put in the hard yards now. The pressure will be alleviated in September when fun-loving Jupiter arrives in your Romance Zone. You still have to work hard on your relationships (including work ones!) but you should start to enjoy the process more.

HOT DATES: May 20 full – your love life starts to heat up. October 26 – can you squeeze in some romance this afternoon? December 3 – a good day for the dreaded “where do we stand?” conversation.
