AQUARIUS

Your month in a nutshell

There could be extra dramas at work in June. See confrontations as a chance to clear the air. You have a lot of energy to burn this month, so if you don’t want to take frustrations out on your co-workers, it’s a good time for you to add more exercise to your regular routines. Financially, inspired work leads to rewards.

So what is up in the skies?

Mercury is on the move… When the planet of communications, Mercury, moves signs, it turns our minds to other things. In June we have Mercury in the sign of Moonchild for most of the month.

So what does that mean for you?

(Remember to read your Rising Sign of you know it for an even more accurate reading. If you don’t know your Rising Sign but you wish you did, see www.moonmessages.com/freechart)

There are times for going out dancing all night, putting lampshades on one’s head and generally doing what old timers called “tying one on”. And there are times to get your house (and life) in order. Guess which cycle you’re in now? Put it this way – let’s hope you’ve had a fun last month or so because Mercury’s move now into your 6th House of Daily Work and Health means you can expect to party less and work more over the next few weeks. The good news is that if you’ve been letting things slide a little – perhaps you’ve been having too much fun, perhaps a romance or a child has been taking up too much of your time – if you’ve been letting things slide, you can now expect to find the time and headspace you need to get back to attending to the tiny details of life. Clear your desk! This is also a great time to be making a 6 or even 12 month plan, if that’s your thing. Certainly your ability to schedule is high, so don’t waste it, if you know you need to live a life that’s slightly less chaotic. Break it down – what do you need to do, what do you want to do, and when can you feasibly do it?

June standout dates for Mercury for all the signs

The thing with Mercury is that it sets the tone for the way we are communicating. So if Mercury is clashing, we get a day when people are more prone to argue. And when it’s harmonising, you guessed it, we get a day when people are more likely to get along. Here’s a rundown of the Mercury dates for 2019. Please note that these events don’t turn on and off like a light switch. You will feel them a little in the lead up and also in the aftermath.

5 June 2019 – Mercury moves into Cancer. There’s a bit less chatter.
8 June 2019 – a great day to say something which surprises everyone. Ideas are flowing.
8 June 2019 – that said, there could also be some harsh words being bandied around. Don’t be the person who upsets someone else!
16 June 2019 – today there is a sense that the thing which needs to be said will finally be said.
16 June 2019 – a day to dream and to write down your dreams and daydreams. Meditate and contemplate.
17 June 2019 – don’t let a mean person get you down. A good day for mental discipline but some people are also in a plain bad mood.
19 June 2019 – things could get fiery in the communication stakes today. Watch out!
19 June 2019 – adding this to the mix makes June 19 a day to really avoid getting into power struggles or arguments which devolve into something toxic.
27 June 2019 – Mercury moves into Leo

What about the love and abundance plane Venus?

So that’s the planet of communications, Mercury. What about the planet of love and abundance Venus?

She is also in the move this month. On June 9, she moves into the sign of Gemini where she stays unto until July. Venus in Gemini is flirty and lots of fun, so the vibe should be quite good.

Here’s what it means for you.

Fun-loving Venus is now moving through your fifth house of fun. And if you think that sounds like a good double whammy, you’re right. There nothing that the planet of pleasure, Venus, likes more than enjoying herself. And as she goes through your House Of Fun, having a good time is her Number 1 Mission. And it can be yours, too. Live a little, as they say! If you needed some kind of excuse to stop worrying and start indulging, you have it; Venus in this part of your chart means you are almost duty-bound to work less and to spoil and amuse yourself more. This Venus cycle is also good news for singles looking to meet someone, because your fifth house rules romance – of the light-hearted variety. Certainly, if there were ever a time to get out there and shimmy your shui, this is that time. Couples don’t miss out, either. If you don’t find some of the old romance seeping back into your relationship over the next four weeks, it might be time to start talking to each other about your romantic expectations. Romance each other. This transit is also excellent for anyone with issues connected to children (your own or someone else’s). Any child-related issues should be more easily negotiated and resolved. Good news really is possible. Ditto if you are working on an artistic or creative project. Your ability should be extra high – now all you need to do is discipline yourself to harness your extra creative ability!

June standout dates for Venus for all the signs

They are also going to be lots of clicks and clashes with other planets as Venus moves through Gemini. Here’s a rundown of the standout dates.

2 June 2019 – it’s a day of deep and exciting love, profound connection and maybe a bit of obsession too.
13 June 2019 – if you have been hurt in love, this can be a day of healing. Also a good day to make up with a friend.
23 June 2019 – how much love is too much love? That is the question today as Venus connects with OTT Jupiter. Don’t smother someone and don’t spend too much either!
24 June 2019 – if you’re worried that your beloved is not to be trusted to 1. Ask yourself why you’re with them and 2. Take care today as deception is in the air!

Follow the Sun

Meanwhile the Sun spends June 1 to 22 in the sign of Gemini. Wherever the Sun goes in your chart is where the “focus” is for that four-week cycle. If you follow the Sun around your chart over the course of a year and work on the part of your life that the Sun is highlighting, you will work on every single part of your life. Check back here each month for info about where the Sun is for you…

The Sun for you in June…

As the Sun moves into your 5th solar house, it’s as though the Universe is issuing you with an edict which will be valid for one month – enjoy yourself! The 5th house is where we have fun, where we keep our inner child. It’s also the part of our charts related to our creative sides – indulge that part of you now. Children can also be expected to be more in your focus now (your own or someone else’s) – at the very least, learn from them if you’ve forgotten how to enjoy yourself. Some of you will be looking to get pregnant, finding out that you are pregnant, or even giving birth. This is the ‘creative’ part of your chart and there is nothing more ‘creative’ than creating a new life! Romantically, it’s all about flirting and remembering how to mix fun with romance.

June brings the solstice. Click here for the times around the world.
Down Under, it’s the winter solstice and in the northern hemisphere it’s the summer solstice. For Aussies, then, this June solstice is the shortest day of the year in terms of daylight. In the north, it’s the longest.

A solstice occurs when the sun is at its furthest point from the equator (at the equinox, it’s at the closest distance from the equator.).
So what to do? Wherever you are at the time of the solstice, honour the light in your life – since the solstice is about the Sun.

A little ritual for the solstice… from my Moonology Diary (click here to pre-order the 2020 version!)

As you enjoy the solstice, take a moment to think about what is coming up in the months ahead.

Down Under, of course, it’s about being half-way through the depths of winter. In the northern hemisphere, it’s all about the height of summer.

One thing this June solstice has in common, wherever you may be in the world, is that a candle can work as a symbol of the celebration.

In the southern hemisphere, the same coloured candle symbolise the warmth of hearth and home as winter peaks, and also reminds us of the coming of the light at the end of the coldest months.

In the northern climes, an orange, red or yellow candle (which you can poke into an actual orange!) symbolises the Sun burning brightly for summer. It’s said to leave the candle burning all day long (though careful not to burn your house down!)

The June hotspots

Regardless of your star sign of Rising Sign, there are some days which are more intense than others and affect us all in a similar way though the specifics of how they manifest will vary.

Here are the hot June dates

14 June 2019 – today could be annoying and frustrating as we move towards a Mars/Saturn clash which is all about trying to get somewhere and spinning your wheels. Patience is the only sane answer.
16 June 2019 – today is a really big day because we get the latest Jupiter/Neptune clash. Note that this year, Jupiter and Neptune are actually clashing repeatedly. Every time that happens, it’s going to bring up a lot of confusion. Expect weirdness.
18 June 2019 – counter-balancing the weirdness above we get a lovely link between Saturn and Neptune. So whatever was so weird a few days ago can start to make more sense now.
20 June 2019 – another high energy day as Mars makes its once-every-two-years clash with Pluto. If you have a short fuse or your dealing with someone who has one, watch out today!

Where’s the Moon?

This month’s New Moon is in Gemini
June 2019 New Moon in Gemini
London: 3 June at 11:01
Sydney: 3 June at 20:01
LA: 3 June at 3:01

Where the New Moon is for you

Welcome to the House of Fun! Have you been having a bit of that lately? If not, then the skies are strongly suggesting to you that it’s time to get out and do a little bit of what you fancy! There’s a new start possible for you now re romance, creativity and kids, as the New Moon takes place this month. Could you use a restart re re romance, creativity and kids? Identify which one(s) you want to work on and draw up an action plan. What could you do to inch closer to what you want? Remember, the law of attraction means we can’t get what we want until we know what we want.

On the night of the New Moon… a little ritual for all the signs:

1. Make a list of what you want to manifest in your life

2. Cross off anything which you already suspect you are never going to manage to manifest

3. From your list, chose the number 1 thing you really want in your life

4. Write a list of the steps that you would realistically have to take to make this dream real

5. Write an affirmation about this dream – as though it’s already happened eg “I love my new job – I just LOVE it!” Commit to saying it out loud over and over every day for the month ahead. Put a reminder in your phone so that do don’t forget! Write it out, too, and as you write it, imagine you’re writing to a friend to tell them the good news about your new job. You can also write it as an email or text message which you never send. The secret is to feel the feeling of the wish fulfilled as you do this. See it as real as you do it, too. This is all crucial.

6. Make a list of inspired action you can take to make your dream come true. Because when you manifest, you have to balance the magic with the practical.

7. Pay attention to signs that your dream is manifesting. For example, say you want to work for a particular company, see if you start to see ads for them. That’s a sign your dream is manifesting

8. And most important of all, do it with a spirit of surrender. Be grateful for all the good in your life as you do these exercises, and once they’re done, say “For the good of all or not at all!” out loud with a lot of energy. Because the Universe knows what’s best.
If you do this, you will start to see how manifesting really does work.

The Full Moon is in Sagittarius

Where the Full Moon is for you

Of course, it’s as tempting for you as it is for everyone else to focus on yourself and your own pleasures. Perhaps you’re one of the Creative Types out there. Why shouldn’t you express yourself? Of course you should! Life is for living and having fun. However, this month’s Full Moon in your 11th House is reminding you that you need to find a balance between indulging yourself in a bit of what you fancy and remembering that the people in your life also need some attention. They need some attention from you. Whatever you do now for someone else, you get extra karmic Brownie points for. This also makes the coming month good for networking.

Here are the top 5 questions to ask yourself under the Sagittarius Full Moon

1. Have I been too flippant, or carefree to the point of being careless, irresponsible, even?

2. Have I been letting myself down by allowing myself to get distracted and bored?

3. Have I been overconfident to the point of arrogance, or too preachy?

4. Have I been a commitment-phobe, to my own detriment?

5. Have I been seeing the bigger picture?
