To get Cindy Crawford and Kate Hudson’s polished look, Dario Cotroneo from DARIO Salon shares how to tame and style your locks for your next big occasion.
How to get Cindy Crawford’s Golden Globes hair:
Step 1: Part hair from front hairline to nape and tie a ribbon around the widest area of your head (from recession area around the crown). Divide hair into 4 even sections from below the ribbon.
Step 2: Spray shine serum on the left side, and wrap hair vertically around MYCURL. Make sure you direct hair away from the face around mid length.
Step 3: Repeat this for all 4 sections.
Step 4: Clamp your straightening irons over each MYCURL for 10 sections each and allow to cool for 10 to 15 minutes. Then spray medium hold hair-spray onto a makeup brush and glide through the top area to clean up any stray hairs.
Result: After hair has cooled down, remove the ribbon and all MYCURLs. Shake out the roots to loosen the curls and secure the style with super strong hairspray. Sweep to one side to complete the style.
How to Replicate Kate Hudson’s Golden Globes look:
Step 1: Part hair in the middle and blow-dry until sleek and smooth.
Step 2: Once hair is dry, spray medium hairspray onto hair and brush hair back into a low ponytail, maintaining the middle part. Secure with an elastic band and divide the ponytail into 2 sections.
Step 3: Wrap these two-divided sections of hair around the ponytail to form a loose bun and secure with bobbie pins. Loosen hair slightly around the edges for a bit of texture.
Step 4: Spray a make up brush with medium hairspray and gently run it over your hair to secure the style.
