Live Videos on Instagram Stories
Instagram Live allows you to connect with your friends and followers at that exact moment. Once you have finished recording live, it will disappear from the app and will not be available for anyone to watch.
It’s really easy to go live – swipe right from feed to open the camera, after tapping on “Start Live Video” you can share content for up to an hour.
When someone you follow starts a live story, there will be a “Live” under their profile photo in the stories bar. You can comment and like as much as you want when the broadcast is live.

Disappearing Photos and Videos For Groups and Friends in Instagram Direct
There are 300 million people using Instagram direct and now they are making it more fun by introducing this new feature to share videos and photos with your friends directly.
Swipe right into the camera to take a photo or video, then tap the arrow to send it privately.
You can send to an existing group, create one or send to individual friends at the same time. The photos and videos will disappear once your friends have viewed them. You’ll also know who replayed or took a screenshot of your photo or video. You can send photos and videos to people who follow you.
To view what your friends have sent you, tap on the paper airplane on the top right corner of your feed or swipe left. Like Instagram stories, you will see disappearing photos and videos in a bar at the top. When photos and videos are sent in a group, you will be able to see who has seen them and everyone’s responses.
