Top Aussie health blogger Jessica Sepel has shared with RESCU her favourite recipe for gluten free, dairy free and sugar free balls that are jam-packed with ingredients that will give you positively radiant skin. One bite and you’ll be hooked!
1/2 cup almond meal
1/4 cup ground flaxseed
1/2 cup desiccated coconut
1/4 cup sunflower seeds
1-2 tbsp cacao
2 tbsp almond butter (any nut butter)
1/2 tsp ground Cinnamon
1/2 tsp Vanilla powder
2 tbsp stevia/raw honey
1/4 cup water
Pinch of sea salt
Squeeze of lemon juice (or more)
- In a high power blender or food processor, add all the ingredients besides the water and blend until the mixture is a smooth consistency.
- Slowly add the water to the mixture but only pour enough to make the mixture gooey but not too wet. Pour small amounts at a time to check the consistency.
- Rolled into balls of your desired size and refrigerate.
- These can be refrigerated for up to 7 days in an airtight container.
