Jessica Sepel Recipe: Skin Glow Balls

Glowing skin starts from within, and these delicious Skin Glow Balls are the perfect start. Top Aussie health blogger Jessica Sepel has shared with RESCU her favourite recipe for gluten free, dairy free and sugar free balls that are jam-packed with ingredients that will give you positively radiant skin. One bite and you’ll be hooked!



1/2 cup almond meal
1/4 cup ground flaxseed
1/2 cup desiccated coconut
1/4 cup sunflower seeds
1-2 tbsp cacao
2 tbsp almond butter (any nut butter)
1/2 tsp ground Cinnamon
1/2 tsp Vanilla powder
2 tbsp stevia/raw honey
1/4 cup water
Pinch of sea salt
Squeeze of lemon juice (or more)


  1. In a high power blender or food processor, add all the ingredients besides the water and blend until the mixture is a smooth consistency.
  2. Slowly add the water to the mixture but only pour enough to make the mixture gooey but not too wet. Pour small amounts at a time to check the consistency.
  3. Rolled into balls of your desired size and refrigerate.
  4. These can be refrigerated for up to 7 days in an airtight container.
