Acclaimed chef, author and Oxfam Ambassador, Kylie Kwong, is encouraging all Australians to get behind Oxfam Australia’s new ‘Stop Hunger’ appeal.
The new appeal highlights the urgency to donate and ensure people in poor countries have enough to eat.
This year, Oxfam Australia is helping people in Mozambique who suffer from extreme hunger. Right now almost half of the children aged under 5 in Mozambique are affected by malnutrition.
Oxfam Australia is supporting men and women in Mozambique communities to grow more food by giving them drought-tolerant seeds such as pineapples and farming education so that they can provide food for their families.
Pineapple is a key ingredient in Kylie Kwong’s recipe that she is providing to supporters of the appeal.
