Last night’s Bachelor Australia episode had all the makings of a Hollywood blockbuster. A luxury boat, tears and tantrums topped off with a batch of brand new babes rocked the remaining nine girls with a not-to-be-missed episode of reality television.
In a never before seen twist on the Bachelor Australia, Blake wasn’t the only one surprised to welcome not one, but six new girls to the already tumultuous bachelorette house.
At the beginning of the episode, four of the “originals” were yet to score a single date with Bachelor Blake and it was the Marilyn Monroe-esque Louise who’s name was read out on the card. As the pair set off on another over the top date complete with a luxury boat, seafood and champagne, the remaining Bachelorettes looked on at the lovebirds from the balcony. Louise even managed to steal a lipstick-laden kiss from the Bachelor, as well as a rose.
With emotions already running on high at the weekly cocktail party, Blake is drawn away by host Oscher with the announcement that “it’s such a shame to have such a big house with so few ladies.” Enter the newcomers and chaos ensues.
Sam is “sick of the emotional roller-coaster” and Amber says she feels “depreciated in value”. Amber initially refuses the rose from Blake (shock, horror!) but is coaxed back into the house by his dulcet tones and love-lorn demeanour.
