With only a few weeks to go and nine Bachelorettes left, the competition for Bachelor Sam Wood’s final rose is getting fierce.
Tonight’s episode of The Bachelor Australia will see one of the Bachelorettes break the sacred ‘girl code’, as she boldly lands a kiss with Sam in front of the other Bachelorettes on a group date.

The group date tonight will see the ladies don their boots and flannelette shirts and head to the country, where they’ll sheer sheep and, for some reason, bob for apples. With this series’ Bachelor being a country boy, the pressure is on for the Bachelorettes to impress with more than just their good looks.
But with Bachelor Sam locking lips with a contestant in a bout of passion make it all in vain? Regardless, there’s no question the public hookup will have a resounding impact on the remaining nine women, which will unfold over this week’s two highly charged episodes.
Before Bachelor Sam’s very public display of affection plays out, he will take thirty-one year old advertising executive Emily out on their first solo date. With the couple stripping down to their swimmers and taking to the beach for a treasure hunt, the odds on Emily winning the series have risen in the stakes to 8-1. Sam himself has even attested to experiencing chemistry with the brunette beauty. But the affection hasn’t so far been shared by the other Bachelorettes, with many of them referring to Emily as a ‘princess’.

Meanwhile, outside of the Bachelor mansion, audience favourite Heather has denied reports that she was hired as a paid actor on the series.
The twenty-nine year old filmmaker from Sydney publicly denied the speculation on radio station KIIS FM this week, claiming that she finds the rumour ‘quite funny’.
‘It’s a bit different, I never thought that this would be the scandal,’ she told hosts Kyle and Jackie O. ‘To be really honest, I thought that by telling everyone what I do for a living and being really honest about the fact that I work in film and TV and that I’ve done acting and all of those sorts of things that it would probably stop people from wanting to create this kind of silly story… It’s disappointing that they found another way around it.’

The speculations come after New Idea magazine this week reported that the Bachelorettes grew suspicious of Heather being a ‘mole’, after seen frequently talking to producers in private. In response to this, Heather claims she ‘had to talk to producers because I got the white rose and I had to organise my date with Sam.’
The media spotlight remains on Heather this week with a raunchy video showreel of the Bachelorette circulating online.
So is it Heather, Emily, Bec, or a surprise Bachelortte who breaks the ‘girl code’ on tonight’s episode? There’s only one way to find out.
The Bachelor airs at 7.30pm Wednesday and Thursdays nights on Channel 10.
