The Wedgwood Vera Wang Elements of Style Collection is designed to appeal to a new generation of women, reflecting four distinctive styles; the Romanticist, Traditionalist, Individualist and Modernist.
In this series we speak to four inspirational Australian women – each representing one of these personalities – who share their journey, learnings and personal style.
Introducing our Traditionalist Jo Casamento, who juggles family life and traditional values with a fast paced multi-media career.
The woman who co-launched the hugely successful column Sydney Confidential and has held positions at The Sun Herald, The Sydney Morning Herald, Sunrise Wentworth Courier and The Daily Show, has broken and covered hundreds of Sydney’s most read stories. In the process Jo has gained a reputation for being bright and bubbly, yet also trustworthy and sincere.
Jo’s feminine and classic style resonates with audiences. With an Italian heritage, the perennially stylish mother of three says that her mother taught her to always be the best dressed in the room.. She treasures shared meals and in particular Christmas day – planned with her four sisters – which brings the entire family together.
“On Christmas Day, we come together and there’s a massive banquet, and we go through the courses and it’s just really beautiful.”
In partnership with Wedgwood and the Vera Wang Elements of Style Collection, we bring you Jo’s story and inspiration on how to harness your own family traditions with style.
“A love of style supersedes trends” Vera Wang
The Traditionalist looks beyond fashion to style. A natural inclination towards casual grace – always relevant and timeless – is part of the Traditionalist fascination.
