The Australian shortlist for the Veuve Clicquot Business Woman Award 2012 features five shining examples of female entrepreneurship and business success across sectors ranging from fashion to food to industrial products.
The five businesswoman award finalists are: Lorna Jane Clarkson (Found and Creative Director of Lorna Jane), Elena Gosse (Director and Company Secretary of Australian Innovation Systems), Ronni Kahn (Founder and CEO of OzHarvest), Kris Lloyd (CEO and Head Cheesemaker of Woodside Cheese Wrights) and Maryanne Shearer (CEO of T2).
The Australian winner of the 40th Business Woman Award will be announced on Thursday 8th March 2012 (International Women’s Day) at a luncheon attended by 100 of Australia’s most influential businesswomen.
This year’s winner will receive return business class flights to Reims France to meet with past and present winners from around the globe at the Annual Veuve Clicquot International Businesswomen’s forum. The winner will even have a vine in the Vevue Clicquot vineyard christened in her name! And each year on Madam Clicquot’s birthday, the winner will receive a gift of La Grande Dame champagne!
