Passionate, laid-back and even a little cheeky, sommelier Sarah Limacher is our authority on the top drops. Proving you don’t have to be as mature as fine wine to know your way around a cellar, 27-year-old Sarah is a Wine Consultant & Sommelier for Revelry Wine Consulting. An early standout on the scene, she picked up three goblet trophies in the 2011 Gourmet Traveller Wine List of the Year Awards. We think it’s in her blood. Originally from Wellington, New Zealand, Sarah grew up in kitchens (both of her parents ran restaurants) and began working in hospitality at 13. These days, she is a board member for both the NSW and National chapters of Sommeliers Australia and has clocked up time in the wine regions of Western Europe, New Zealand and Australia.
