Elegance has arrived at Sydney’s Westfield Bondi Junction courtesy of Jayson Brunsdon’s new store, which shares the floor with exclusive brands like Leona Edmiston, Arthur Galan, Chanel, Louis Vuitton and Hugo Boss. Rescu. had a look inside and loved what we saw …
The store opened for trading several weeks ago, but on the 24th of August, Brunsdon celebrated its grand opening with a stylish cocktail party, where a crowd of 250 fashion and media insiders – including designer Leona Edmiston – were invited to explore and enjoy the store.
Live entertainment by jazz musician and fashion commentator Glynis Traill Nash gave the party a real buzz. And Brunsdon also entertained his guests with a ‘still life’ trunk show of his latest collection. With celebrity hair stylist Joh Bailey designing the models’ hair and Nicole Thompson from MAC Cosmetics in charge of make-up, this show was a definite crowd-pleaser.
The store, designed by award-winning architect Nick Tobias to match Brunsdon’s vision, is sleek yet simple; the perfect complement to Brunsdon’s clothing. It is beautifully laid out in colour-coded blocks, which makes for easy browsing and selection.
In addition to the gorgeous clothes, the accessories are worth a mention. We spotted some amazing jewellery that would bring elegance and polish to any outfit. Particularly loving the pearl and coral cuff and earrings that had us transported to Capri.
