It was all about the off-duty dancer as Charlotte Ronson channelled ‘Flashdance’ and sent models including her stepsister Annabelle Dexter-Jones down the catwalk in 80s inspired one shouldered dresses, acid-washed shorts, rolled up stockings, headbands, leather obi-style belts and tailored leather shorts.
The edgy, yet still feminine looks made sure to focus on her muse the ‘dancer’s’ waist and her shoulders as Ronson contrasted colour palettes of soft greys, whites and soft blues with harsher black.
The celebrity front row including Nicky Hilton, and the entire Ronson clan admired the strongly defined clothes mixed with soft, pretty make-up and hair.
Maybelline’s Charlotte Willer began the feminine look by dabbing concealer under the eyes and then applying a light coating of Maybelline Mineral Powder across the entire face to even out and soften the complexion. Illuminator was then applied under the eyebrow bone and cheek bone to create a healthy glow, before pink mineral blush was swirled onto the apples of the cheeks.
Rescu. loves the tip that placing the blush in that position creates the type of rosy, healthy look that dancers retain after a workout session.
‘Gentle Pink’ lipstick was then mixed with lip balm for soft, beautiful lips and Willer finished the face by applying mascara to the top lashes only for a “more natural look”.
Hair was simply pulled into an elegant 80s style Ballerina chignon.
With such edgy and striking clothes on display, pretty and soft make-up complements the look without competing for attention.
