So here we go into the New Year! What can we expect?
Let’s start off with some general information for all the Star signs…
The good news is that pretty much no matter what your Star sign, 2016 going to be a whole lot easier than 2012-2015 was.
That’s because those years brought us those terribly pressurising and some would say downright dreadful Uranus/Pluto clashes. And they are now officially over for eons.
Especially affected were Aries, Cancers, Librans and Capricorns (or if you have one of those signs rising…)
WHAT DOES THIS YEAR PROMISE?
2016 will be less about being pushed into a corner by the Universe so that have to take action, and more about making positive life changes.
Arguably the loveliest of the astro-links ahead this year will taking place between Jupiter (positivity) and Pluto (change). So yes, we are onto a much better thing.
Positive change is in the air. That means if you want to do something different, it’s not going to be such a struggle!
Here is a quick rundown re where you can expect change to flow more easily. Read your sign or your Rising sign if you know it!
Aries – changes can flow at work
Taurus – study and/or travel will be life-changing
Gemini – overall positive changes can flow re sex and money
Cancer – your love life can be transformed in a good way

So will 2016 be 100% smooth sailing? Of course not! However there will be less of a crushing imperative that feels like do or die… and that has to be a good thing!
What’s really a stand out this year is that a lot of the big, outer, slow-moving planets are connecting in way that will allow us mere mortals here on earth to stride towards our goals.

And if there have been problems at home and you’re wondering how your resident curmudgeon can be expected to be transformed into someone who’s a pleasure to live with, then you’re under-estimating Uncle Jupe.
For anyone with the intention of having a happier home life, be it with a spouse, live-in lover, family or flatmate, the offer is out there in the ethers. You may just have to adjust your attitude first.
Singles are also more likely to meet someone new – perhaps someone to live with. Couples who are happy together get happier and feel ready to take the next step. This part of the chart is also associated with the past and childhood. If you have serious old issues to resolve, now is the time to do it, be it via counselling or another means. How’s your love life? Saturn is now in your love zone. Yes, Saturn is the one of the more-difficult-to-deal-with planets, but he teaches lessons and lessons are what helps us to evolve, no? But let’s also be astro-frank. Does your relationship feel turgid, confining, restrictive or controlling? If you can answer yes to any of these, Saturn moving into your opposite sign could easily see that relationship off.
If that’s the case, you might be scared to let go of the relationship, even though you know it’s for the best. On the one hand, clinging on won’t help matters, while on the other, it ain’t over til it’s over. But Saturn isn’t just a big demolishing machine.
