Wedding Inspiration: Easy, Inexpensive Wedding Table Settings

Securing dates, booking venues, deliberating over the guest list, and finding the right caterers can make the initial stages of planning a wedding stressful and overwhelming. Once you’ve ticked off some of these big boxes, however, the planning gets fun as you’re able to express yourself in the details and table settings are a great place to start. Read on for unique table settings that your guests won’t soon forget.

Personalise the bridal party, gift, or cake table with a chic monogrammed table runner. If you’re handy with a sewing machine, you could easily create some monogrammed runners at home. Use crisp cotton in any colour and incorporate you and your partner’s names, and the date of your wedding in the monogram. Not a keen stitcher? Try these from Pink Frosting.

Guests often take their place cards home as a memento of the wedding so putting a bit of extra effort in to them will be well received. We love these sweet potted place card favours from Martha Stewart weddings. All you need is a terra-cotta pott, potting soil, a mound of moss, a twig, and a white place card.

Give your wedding a rustic look by using mismatched recycled vases. Scour op-shops for second-hand vases, collect jam jars to use as vases, and keep any old glass bottles you come across. Fill your vases with seasonal florals and compliment the arrangements with simple votives.

Let your guests get nostalgic with these incredible Floral Sage Finger Puzzle Menus from Pulp Creative Paper. We love that these make a functional necessity fun and they make a great guest keepsake.

Compliment your floral arrangements with small crates filled with apples, oranges, or any other bright coloured fruit. These unique centrepieces have rustic charm that will perfectly compliment any outdoor wedding. You could attach table numbers to the crates to guide your guests

Crepe paper florals are easier to make than you might at first imagine. Get creative and leave each guest one paper flower to take home or create a bouquet to sit as the centrepiece. Follow this super-simple Martha Stewart DIY.

To make these cute jars of light all you’ll need is a clean glass jar, scissors, book paper, glue, rope or ribbon, and some fake flame tea-light candles. If you prefer real tea light candles, glue the paper to the outside of the jar to prevent it catching fire.
